Thom Cat

Bond Street at Thompson Beverly Hills

room service, please!

What’s a lady got to do to get some decent service around here?

Room service, that is.

Thompson Beverly Hills, the West Coast boutique counterpart to 60 Thompson, is here. And with New York City’s beloved Japanese spot, Bond Street, in charge of food, it’s a good place to start.

Let the staff (uniformed by Jenni Kayne and Rachel Zoe) detour through the mezzanine bar and wind up in one of the 107 Hollywood-mod guest rooms surrounded by Steven Klein photographs, Fresh beauty amenities, and Sferra linens.

Then it’s time to eat. Dial the Bond Street kitchen morning, noon, or night. Wake up to buttermilk pancakes. Lunch on kurobuta spring rolls, ume soba noodles, and sandwiches like crispy rice with lobster and tomato. Dinner’s perfect for famed noodles, sushi, and rolls like sesame-crusted shrimp.

But you don’t have to get a room. The Bond Street restaurant and lounge officially opens Friday and is taking reservations now.

Looks like someone’s phoning it in.
