You Don’t Owen Me
Owen’s Market by Mindy Weiss

Enough with these unpredictable markets.
Here’s one you can depend on: Owen’s, which reopens today under the spell of party/wedding planner Mindy Weiss. The Cheviot Hills native turned the grocery store where she shopped as a kid into a one-stop boutique-shop with a 1940s vintage feel and modern-day musts galore.
Alongside produce, sundries, gourmet goods, and household supplies like Mrs. Meyer’s organics, there’s a sweet tooth candy shop, more than 100 Cali wines, vintage cookbooks, and a stash of nifty gifts.
The butcher’s dealing exclusively Montana Legend meats; and it’s the only spot to find Cake Divas desserts, Mark’s Garden bouquets, and prepared food from The Kitchen for Exploring Foods in Pasadena.
Plus, Owen’s Market isn’t all talk.
They actually deliver.
Owen’s Market by Mindy Weiss, 9769 West Pico Boulevard, between South Castello Avenue and Roxbury Drive, Beverlywood (310-286-9367 or owensla.com).
