Hello, Gorgeous
Foxtail Opens

Cut the catcalls.
Sure, Foxtail is a real looker, with its art deco, art nouveau, Biba-esque decor. But it’s not just another pretty face; it’s SBE’s Sam Nazarian and Brent Bolthouse’s sumptuous new supper club.
Sip post-work Uva Bellas (green grapes with gin, St.-Germain, lemon juice, and orange bitters) or Poisoned Roses (vodka, Lillet Rouge, organic cider, rose, and citrus) at the bar or drape your dolled-up self on long banquettes at geometric marble tables in the lounge.
Reserve a seat in the luxe dining room (custom-cast, plaster wall friezes; dark wood accents; mirror-tiled ceilings) for oysters, caviar, and French bistro fare: onion soup gratinee, seared tuna nicoise, lamb ragout, croque monsieur, steak frites with fried egg and black truffle, and sweets like lavender pot de creme.
In a few weeks, the swank dance floor upstairs will open, as will the cozy enclosed patio where you can take five by the fireplace.
It’s hot stuff.
Foxtail, 9077 Santa Monica Boulevard, between Doheny Drive and Nemo Street, West Hollywood (310-859-8369).
