Evanston-based Andrea Daugherty named her tiny company for her love of cooking (she comes from a family of bakers) and her kitty (Ella). With a graphic design certificate, paper and textile classes at Lillstreet, and help from her little sis, she creates classic, homey designs.
Daugherty screen-prints charming illustrations (berries, peapods, cakes) onto all sorts of kitchen doodads: letterpress cookbook marks with metric conversions, sweet pea and sweet cakes tea towels, organic wine bags covered with corks and brocade, and recipe cards with heartfelt instructions (bake. eat. live. love. repeat.).
