A nonviolent nonchef, you’ve never been an eggbeater.

But that doesn’t mean you wouldn’t take a crack at a new brunch spot.

Especially when it involves Bob Hartwig (former French Pastry School instructor) and his wife, Gina (Lovely Bakeshop co-owner).

The duo’s newly hatched Lakeview eatery, Bakin’ & Eggs, resembles its Ukie Village sister — with a modern twist: robin’s egg blue throughout, a reclaimed tin wall, handcrafted chalkboards, retooled church pews.

When it comes to the menu, the Hartwigs went whole hog. Pig out on bacon waffles, banana bread French toast with milk chocolate hazelnut ganache, bacon flights, and gouda mac ’n’ cheese with bacon crumble. End your meal with pastries like coconut macaroons and peanut butter chocolate chip cookies.

If you’re too full?

Bring home the bakin’.
