b) A destitute Barbie.
c) A hot new clothing line from local husband and wife team Josh and Lauren Berdell Podoll.
While a) is sad and b) could be true, c) is the answer we care about.
The inspiration for the fall collection is pretty cerebral (abstract artist Kasimir Malevich, ancient Druids, geometry, Robin and Maid Marian), but you won’t have to think twice about adding a few bold pieces to your wardrobe.
A baby doll with a cutout neckline in cloud gray silk charmeuse steals the show at a gallery opening. Rethink outerwear with a fitted waterproof nylon cape that zips up the front or a cozy cashmere robe that goes beyond the bedroom. Subtle smocking updates the little black dress, while architectural drapes and pleats make the Sun Rays top a conversation piece.
