Working Grill
Seattle
July 18, 2007

Your perfect summer plan? A beach party. Too bad you’re less known for your grilling than for last year’s incident with the burger, the bikini, and the dog.

This time around, don’t play with fire — let Veraci Pizza take care of things.

We first spotted owners Marshall and Errin Byrd Jett at the Fremont Market and Olympic Sculpture Park, where their Neapolitan-style pizzas incite crowds. So we were delighted to learn that they’ll bring their portable wood-fired ovens to your home.

Entertainers cum artisans, the Jetts make ultra-thin, bubbly crusts from scratch. Choose specialties (like Luna Rossa, with local sausage, roasted peppers, and Italian dry salami) or mix-and-match toppings (like homemade pesto or roasted garlic glaze).

Veraci takes care of drinks and sides, too. So your biggest responsibility will be not dripping sauce on your suit.

And making sure everyone gets a pizza the action.
