Mayfair’s Rooftop Cabana and Pool Lounge
What: The Coconut Grove staple launches an invite-only rooftop party. (Fill out a commentary card at the restaurant to secure a spot on the list.)
Why: Shaded cabanas complete with flat-screen TVs, couches, and bottle service.
When: Sun., starting July 10. Can’t wait? Check out the July Fourth party with barbecue and a view of Peacock Park’s fireworks.

Bucky Dent Aquatic Center
What: This water park is Hialeah’s best-kept secret.
Why: It may take a sophisticated navigation system to get you there, but this city-owned spot features two 150-foot slides, a six-lane pool, a wet-activity center, a concession stand, and patio umbrellas for rent.
When: Mon., Thurs., Sat. & Sun., 12:30-5:30 p.m.
Where: 2250 W. 60th St., Hialeah (305-818-2990). Admission, $5-$7.
Mandarin Oriental’s Sizzlin’ Sundaze
What: Locals are invited to enjoy the man-made beach for free during this weekly event.
Why: Frozen drinks, sushi, live music, games (badminton, paddle ball), daybeds, and hammocks.
When: Sun., noon-6 p.m.
Where: 500 Brickell Key Dr., Brickell Key (305-913-8358).
The Standard Spa, Miami Beach
What: Always a solid choice, this indulgent retreat is worth the day pass ($40-$75).
Why: Entrance gets you access to the pool, gym, indoor/outdoor spa facilities (shady swing lounge, Roman waterfall hot tub, cedar sauna, soaking tubs).
When: Sun.-Thurs., 8 a.m.-10 p.m.; Fri. & Sat., 8 a.m.-midnight.
