Hello, Muddah. Hello, Fadduh. Here we are at Camp Field Study.
True, it’s nestled in the heart of Hollywood (Space 15 Twenty to be exact). And, no, we can’t sleep overnight. But with its indoor rock climbing wall, geodesic tent, and pinecone-studded walls, it’s kumbaya cool.
Owner/fashion designer Kyle Ng (Farm Tactics) describes the pop-up as a “psychedelic REI,” and we couldn’t agree more. Shop crayon yellow foam boots by Native Shoes, vintage color-blocked Nike windbreakers, and Gabriela Artigas copper acorn pendant necklaces.
Pitch a tent in housewares, where you can find something for both city slickers and glampers. Choose from Disa Textile mud-cloth duvets woven in Africa, Snow Peak titanium cups and saucers, and Liz Browne denim quilts.
But don’t expect an endless summer — the boutique pulls up stakes June 12.
Which leaves us wanting s’more.
