South Motors Fine Arts Festival
What: An international showcase of 65 artists amid Pinecrest Gardens’s fourteen acres of forested wetlands.
Why: Scoop up pieces from world-renowned Cuban artist Humberto Benitez, Phil Fung (whose work has appeared in Vogue), local fiber artist Karen Sconyers, jewelry designer Alexis Barbeau, and others. Stick around for a performance by the FIU Jazz Student Combo (Sun., 6 p.m.).
When: Sat. & Sun., 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Latin Burger and Taco Opens
What: Grab a seat at the famed food truck’s first brick-and-mortar, where craft beers and fine wines signal you to stay put.
Why: In addition to the popular Macho burger, the location doles out new tacos, including the pollo Azteca (lime chicken), shrimp al pastor, and chipotle potato.
When: Daily, 11 a.m.-10 p.m.
