Little sisters have to endure some pretty humiliating stuff.

Pulled hair, hand-me-downs, and those annoyingly daunting homecoming-queen-big-sister shoes to fill.

But for Jennifer Wadford’s little sis, Brooke, indignity took on a whole new meaning when her sibling started calling her “Lucie” for no apparent reason.

Guess Jennifer just really liked the name, because it’s also what she chose for her line of lovely jewelry: a collection of sophisticated, feminine earrings and necklaces handmade with faceted gems, wooden beads, luxe filigree, and slinky gold chains.

Each design is named after a friend or family member — or, in some cases, a customer who inspired the item.

Who knows? Someday she might even call one of her pieces “Brooke.”

Though, clearly, she has difficulty with that one.
