The Good German
Hofbrau Beerhall

Germans love us. (Though maybe it’s our un-Deutschland-like temperatures.)
And yet we chuckle at their pale physiques in blue Speedos. Answer their questions with a hearty “yah.” And assume they’re all named Hans.
Cut the schnitzel and head to Hofbräu Beerhall. Unlike the other German restos in town (okay, there must be another somewhere), this one doesn’t require sophisticated GPS navigation: It’s smack-dab in the middle of Lincoln Road.
Start by ordering a signature brew in lager, wheat, or dark. Snack on a traditional soft-baked pretzel, then move on to pepper steak. Dessert? Like you had to ask. Apple strudel.
We could insert a lame lederhosen joke here, but instead we’ll just tell you to give the place a whirl.
What’s the wurst that could happen?
Hofbräu Beerhall, 943 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach (305-538-8066).
