Natural Born Grillers

Grill: n. 1) The shiny thing on the front of your Bentley. 2) The shiny thing accessorizing your mouth. 3) The shiny thing used to cook slabs of meat.

It’s quite possible you’ll find all three at newly opened The Grill at The Setai, as the hotel and its cuisine have been known to attract their fair share of hungry (well-funded) hotties.

Adjacent to The Restaurant, The Grill marks its territory with gorgeous Asian-influenced decor — bronze leather cushions, woven wood ceiling, antique stone — and a menu that brings a rustic Spanish twist to classic steakhouse fare.

Get familiar with entradas like smoked beef carpaccio with Banyuls vinegar reduction and braised bacon with grain mustard. Then move on to a plato principal like naturally grown beef, Kurobuta pork, or New Zealand lamb chops. Add on selección de salsas such as Setai steakhouse sauce, anti-cucho, and chimichurri.

All of which equals a definition this spot can call its very own: shine-o-mite.
