L.A.-based designer Sheri Bodell makes clothes for those who want to party like a rock star without being mistaken for buffet-hoarding groupies. Incorporating metal chains, studs, and rings into her slinky dresses, Bodell designs her handmade garments like she would pieces of jewelry.

If looks could kill, you’d get shot down (in a blaze of glory) for wearing the cut-up-to-here beige silk mini covered in chains and beads. And the cream-colored halter dress with tiny silver rings? Yummier than a slice of cherry pie.

Although one of Bodell’s sheaths would be perfect for cocktails at Ozzie’s London pad, we suggest avoiding airport metal detectors.

Not that it matters: You’ve always preferred the highway to hell.
