Interior Motives
Bonet Trends Design Studio

The last time you had a loft, it was made of plywood and the cause of many late-night, Zima-induced ladder injuries.
But architect and designer Conrad Bonet, who created the interior common space of Neo Lofts (and won an award for it) on the Miami River, probably didn’t incorporate futons or a Hendrix poster into his decor. So retire the beaded curtain and head to Bonet Trends.
Located in a renovated Little Havana theater, the 2-month-old design boutique is an oasis of affordable, chic housing pieces like intricately woven abaca standing lamps, a room divider made entirely of Indonesian shells, and a braided leather chair.
The boutique also offers a complete staff of designers, complimentary spacial planning sessions, and a design lab, where fancy computers can show you where to place that chaise lounge you’ve fallen in love with.
Which should replace the inflatable Bud Light chair quite nicely.
