Ah, urban living. You’re lucky if you score a balcony big enough for one fern and a hibachi.
Sure, you’ve got that partial view of the canal that leads into the bay, but you not so secretly yearn to look out your window and see a little water all your own. Or at least a big patch of fenced-in grass.
Upper East Side Garden may not have a pool, but it’s sure to fulfill your backyard dreams. The blink-and-you’ll-miss-it green space on Biscayne Boulevard is a tranquil oasis of lush foliage, antique patio tables, and a mini golf course.
That’s right, a mini golf course. Each of the nine holes was designed by a local artist, and play is unlimited (no ball “black hole” on the eighteenth). The garden also hosts movie screenings Thursday nights and is available for private parties. But feel free to go just for the scenery.
You’ve always wanted a bloom with a view.
