Should your electricity go out in the dead of winter (which we’re sure you’re concerned about now that it’s almost July and kilnish outside), you take comfort in the fact that you have enough take-out menus to either a) keep you from starving or b) burn for warmth. Perhaps even both.

Take your to-go tendencies to the next level with Jimmy Carey’s home replacement meals. The veteran chef just opened his first restaurant, Jimmy’z Kitchen, two weeks ago, and will prepare a week’s worth of lunches or dinners for 15 percent off regular menu prices.

From sandwiches with hummus and fresh vegetables to tender Ahi tuna with rice and beans, all dishes are under $15 and made with local produce and seasonal, healthy ingredients.

Carey will even deliver your meals if you live on SoBe, and he plans to add regular delivery as well as catering in time for that Labor Day BBQ.

And definitely in time for winter.
