You Sew Fine

Eddie Murphy was right: You do want to party all the time, party all the time, party all the tiiime.

Save the table-dancing-with-no-underwear scene (so cliche), you’re always up for an open bar and excuse to dress up. Especially now that you’ve stuffed your closet with enough fall party frocks to last you through New Year’s Eve. Among your most prized: a few pieces by Lerario Beatriz.

Designer Ana Lerario hails from Brazil, but her collection is more Paris than Sao Paulo. Go 1940s flapper in the black muumuu with beaded bibbing or the charcoal and silver sheath with a beaded brocade. The rosebud-dotted bubble mini in eggplant works by itself or over jeans, as does the little black dress with puffy sleeves and cream doily neckline.

There are also sweet silk tops and short-sleeve, cropped jackets.

With your soiree schedule, might as well stock up.

After all, Dr. Do Little you’re not.
