Olfactory Girl
Sandalwood Necklaces and Bracelets

A fresh batch of cookies, a rainy day, that dude in the elevator wearing too much Axe: From perfume counters (gag) to scratch-and-sniff wallpaper (genius), you have a nose that knows.
Locals Silvana Danies and Luna Mia can smell a good design from a mile away, which is why you’ll become smitten with their sandalwood necklaces and bracelets. The duo works with natural materials like coral; turquoise; rosewood; and tagua, a seed Danies gets from Colombia, her former home, to create jewelry that gives off a subtle, spicy scent (yes, you’ll still need to wear deodorant).
The wooden beads — combined with semiprecious stones (for the sophisticated) and iconic earth-child charms (for the sanguine) — give each piece a natural, unflashy look that makes them wearable with just about anything.
As for whether you dig their aromatic properties, you’ll just have to give them a sniff.
But don’t scratch.
Available at Mia, 1439 Alton Road, Miami Beach (305-532-6064).
