The Green Home

it's easy being green!

Miami may be a little (okay, light-years) behind on the green revolution, but you do your part by stuffing an organic milk coupon into your canvas bag and pedaling the ten-speed to Whole Foods.

Meanwhile, however, all the lights are on at home and the Arctic tundra’s got nothing on your A/C.

Luckily, Theresa Pinto and Stephen Woodey are ready to give your digs a major eco-overhaul. Via their company, The Green Home, the duo goes far beyond recommending chemical-free cleaning products or tankless water heaters (though they do think those make a great start).

Catering to individual concerns and desires, The Green Home offers everything from personal consultations to home assessments, and works with contractors and architects to make sure building materials and design plans have the least negative impact possible.

Although, Pinto says that becoming environmentally conscious is not so much a matter of changing your lifestyle, but rather the way you see the world.

Just make sure to turn out the fluorescent light bulb when you’re done.
