Halloween Lexicon

Interstate 95 at 4 p.m. on a Friday. Club Deuce at 9 a.m. on a Tuesday. Miami can be scary at times. So in the spirit of the most frightening time of all, we present the spooktacular Halloween Lexicon.

children of the porn
n. The girls who are way too young to be wearing the slutty Halloween costumes.

count mackula
n. The dude who takes advantage of being in costume to hit on anyone and everyone.

costude
n. Air of superiority while wearing a really awesome costume. (Sure, putting rocks in her dress pockets and going as Virginia Woolf was genius, but we could do without the costude.)

flaunted house
n. The house that always goes way overboard with the Halloween lawn decorations.

frankenslime
n. The guy who takes advantage of being in costume to cop a feel. See also count mackula.

freddy cougar
n. The old chick who totally rocks her slutty Halloween costume.

shalloween party
n. Just another lame SoBe hotel party disguised as a Halloween event.

trick-or-traitor
n. The friend who says he’s totally wearing a costume then shows up in a T-shirt with a pumpkin on it.
