And since you’re not in the market for a $10,000 bathtub, shopping’s no excuse either.

Until now. Nektar de Stagni is the District’s lone independent, local fashion designer — and now she’s sharing the love with a few choice others.

Formerly just housing her own collection, her eponymous shop now stocks By the Stones jewelry, toys, and art by local artists Freegums and Friends with You. Wear slip-ons, as de Stagni has an extensive collection of vintage Ferragamos. Her spring collection is highlighted by sweet pink and black dresses and black satin capelet.

Just in: totally out-there yet wearable designs by French label Andrea Crews.
