Slippery When Wet
Rygy Swimwear 2008 Collection

You guess the rain is down in Africa.
So why not bring the safari party here, where sprinkles are spare? You can, in the form of a bikini from Rygy (that’s ree-ghee).
Founded by Brazilian gal Regina Aragáo (nickname: Rygy), the line has pieces inspired by the people, animals, and landscapes of Africa.
Sahara is a string bikini with lush green florals, intricate metallic threading, and layered leaf cutouts. Tiger is an abstract striped pattern in greens and browns accented with brushed silver buckles. Nina is a black or silvery brown beaded number fit for a Moroccan princess.
Our favorite, however, is the one-piece Twister for its low back and halter top, taupe and ivory palette, and gold heart accessories. It’s sophisticated, subtly sexy, and hugs every curve.
You know, the toto package.
Available at Loews Miami Beach, 1601 Collins Avenue (305-604-5283); Bella Mar, 215 Seventh Street, Miami Beach (305-672-6968). To see styles, go to rygy.com.
