Strap It On
Tuccia di Capri Opens

You’ve always wanted something Italian that you could slip right into.
Unfortunately, the national soccer team didn’t respond to the pictures you sent.
Almost as good: Tuccia di Capri, the newly opened Italian sandal shop.
The owners traveled to the isle of Capri to meet with master cobbler Vincenzo Faiella. Then they extracted all his secrets and brought the info (and some shoe-makers) back to Miami. The stolen Italian cobblers are now working at Tuccia, making sandals by hand in less than twenty minutes.
The results are incredible. Molded specially to your foot, the sandals come in an array of styles. The signature is the T-strap, with your choice of heel: flat, wedge, or kitten. And the custom kicks can be made in almost any shade, from simple brown leather to scarlet red.
Plus, the boutique will service (resole, restrap, tighten) your pair anytime.
Sounds much more obliging than certain footballers.
Tuccia di Capri, 1630 Pennsylvania Avenue (305-534-5865 or tucciadicapri.com).
