Rumeur Boutique Opens

Your ex has the herp. Your sis was an accident. Your co-worker’s rack is fake.

You love a good rumor.

Here’s one to sink your teeth into: Rumeur Boutique in up-and-coming Miami Shores.

The cozy new digs are filled with refreshingly atypical designers. Knits from Vancouver-based Kersh hang next to sweet dresses by Frenzzi (from L.A. native Jully Kang). There are jeans and skirts by Fresh Ink and incredibly thin, washed-out T-shirts from Fluxus. Our favorite: local designer Nikki Poulos’s long, colorful frocks.

Plop down on the floral couch beneath the pink chandelier before surveying the accessories. Bags and shoes line the walls, along with jewelry from local designer Rosie and one-of-a-kind pieces from Bijou.

We hear they also host shopping parties like Finally Fridays (wine and cheese) and Sugar Saturdays (cake and cookies).

But that could just be a Rumeur.
