Reap What You So-Mi

So-Mi Boutique Opens

that's so you!

If you had a dime for every time you spied a dress and cried, “That’s so her,” you’d have a buck twenty. (Being thoughtful pays bunk.)

Try a boutique that’s so you. So-Mi, actually.

The newly opened shop feels like home, complete with warm wood floors, a plush sofa atop a funky rug, family photos, and Gueishi the friendly Yorkie. There’s also candy, like Starbursts and Super Bubble.

The clothes are equally sweet: embellished Tibi frocks, dresses by Yoana Baraschi (who studied under Betsey Johnson), sunny silks from Tricia Fix, flouncy Stella & Jamie tops, giraffe-pattern fabrics by Julie Haas. And denim from the likes of Hudson and James Jeans is stacked high.

Jewelry is also on hand, along with accessories and knick-knacks, like the darling journals from Sarita Mishaan (with pictures of lingerie-clad woman and blossoming flowers).

It’d make a sweet gift — to yourself.

So-Mi, 2775 Northeast 187th Street, suite 2, Aventura (786-787-9087 or so-mi.com).
