Peterbrooke Chocolatier Opens

McGruber: Trixie, we’re locked in a safe with a bomb. What’s in your purse?

Trixie: Half a bag of popcorn, a chocolate bar, and a lighter.

McGruber: What?

Trixie: I was at a movie when you called.

McGruber: Melt that chocolate with your lighter, then pour it over the popcorn.

Trixie: How will that save us?

McGruber: It won’t. But I’m craving Peterbrooke Chocolatier’s legendary chocolate-covered popcorn.

Trixie: If we get out of here, let’s hit their new shop in Coral Gables. They smother Oreos, pretzels, s’mores, and even potato chips with high-quality European chocolate. Oh, and they custom-make chocolate fountains.

McGruber: We’ll never make it in time.

Trixie: They’re open till midnight on Fridays and Saturdays to satisfy late-night munchies. So we can indulge in choco-covered strawberries until we, um, explode.

McGruber: So not funny.

Correction: Sadly, the Battle of the Bands at MOCA actually took place last night and will not be on Saturday as the Weekend Guide wrongly stated. We are lashing ourselves this very moment.
