Remember Sourpuss Sara? The girl in elementary school who always looked like she was smelling something rank?
You thought she knew you farted. But perhaps she was just a fan of Del’s Soft Frozen Lemonade, the sourly delicious beverage originally from Rhode Island.
Thanks to Bernardo Kennedy, an Ocean State native who moved to Miami last year, we’re all part of the Del-volution. Kennedy says he couldn’t find any good soft frozen lemonade down here — meaning as good as Del’s — so he did what any homesick expat would do: He imported the stuff.
For now, Kennedy sells the Del’s cups out of a cooler on Sundays on Lincoln Road during the farmers market. So you might have to do a little searching.
Hey. Don’t give us that look.
Available Sundays, 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m., at the Lincoln Road Farmers Market, between Meridian and Washington Avenue, South Beach. To find locally, e-mail delsmiami2@gmail.com. To order online, go to dels.com.
