Do You Want to Enjoy My Sweater?

Locals are obsessed with the weather. Has our concern for global warming kicked into high gear?

Nah, we’re just watching for an opportunity to wear a sweater — and blessed be some boots.

For the former, there’s Soho de Luxe, an Italian collection of back-to-school knits suited for temps below 70.

Dream of foliage in a black cap-sleeve sweater dress with a large center pleat, square pockets, and mock turtleneck (complete with brooch). Roast chestnuts in the girly beige cardigan with ruffles along the hem and a flower at the waist. Snuggle into a dark gray wrap while you sip a pumpkin latte.

If mercury’s rising, there’s a delicate cream-colored lace dress (to overlay a slip) or an equally dainty Victorian-cut blouse.

Both are pretty cool.
