Nah, we’re just watching for an opportunity to wear a sweater — and blessed be some boots.

Dream of foliage in a black cap-sleeve sweater dress with a large center pleat, square pockets, and mock turtleneck (complete with brooch). Roast chestnuts in the girly beige cardigan with ruffles along the hem and a flower at the waist. Snuggle into a dark gray wrap while you sip a pumpkin latte.

If mercury’s rising, there’s a delicate cream-colored lace dress (to overlay a slip) or an equally dainty Victorian-cut blouse.
