It’s hard to feel Christmassy drinking a mojito poolside. So we turned to the folks behind the newly opened Sunset Lounge for a Miami-style holiday cocktail.
Cinnamon Caipirinha
Ingredients
1 tbsp. Hawaiian cinnamon sugar (1 tbsp. raw sugar mixed with 1/3 tsp. cinnamon)
1 whole lime cut into 8 wedges
1½ oz. cachaça
1 cinnamon stick
1. Squeeze lime wedges over Hawaiian cinnamon sugar; muddle.
2. Add cachaça and stir.
3. Pour over crushed ice into a double old-fashioned glass.
4. Garnish with cinnamon stick.
5. Sip while singing “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town” (the Springsteen version) in a bikini.
