Plyprints Plywood Artwork

Polyester and giant bushes should RIP forever and ever.

But Alexander Girard’s graphics should not. Thankfully, Columbia Forest Products shares our sentiments, and that’s why it just released Plyprints, Girard’s images screened onto plywood.

The midcentury modern designs were originally used in Herman Miller’s Environment Enrichment Panel program in the ’70s (disco!). There are six panels to choose from (Love Heart, Daisy Face, Facade, Sun, Madonna, Snake), and each work is a fourteen-inch square.

The artist’s estate agreed to the collaboration because Girard himself was sensitive to the environment and Columbia Forest Products is an ecofriendly company that uses formaldehyde-free wood and practices sustainable forestry.

Because there is one thing we’d like to stay bushy.
