It takes a trip to The Spa at Metropolis — recently opened in Coral Gables.

In the modern space (white tile floors, zebra rug, exposed air ducts), aestheticians perform truly daring feats: beauty treatments at affordable prices.

Villainous oily skin is no match for the $40 express facial, a 30-minute treatment that includes extractions, massage, and a mask. (To conquer supervillians, there’s the hour-long deep cleaning.) Crime fighting is stressful: Get a 55-minute massage for $75. They also do waxing, nails, and hair — including a $35 blowout.

To stay more powerful than a locomotive, hit the juice bar for a smoothie. The Berry Amore Antioxidant mixes blueberries, raspberries, banana, açai, pomegranate, fat burner, and vitamins.
