Also this weekend there is a charity event at Banana Republic (8th and Collins) for CARE, Feeding South Florida, Teach for America, Leukemia Society, I think the deal is you get 30% off from the store purchase and 5% of the proceed goes to these orgs. What's interesting about this is that they paired up with a local jewelry designer Astrid Poletti who does these very intricate knots bracelets. She has made some special edition bracelets to sell at this event and 30% of the proceed goes to charity. Imagine a small time designer giving 30% of her profit to charity. I think that's very nice and uplifting!
