Things aren’t always what they seem in the animal world.

Take Wolf & Badger. This isn’t just another overpriced West London boutique. The unique concept store, opened yesterday by Samir Ceric (art gallery owner) and his wife, Zoe Knight (accessories designer), stocks emerging fashion, accessories, jewellery and housewares. Of special note: Blush B-Lush’s vintagey handbags, MFP’s structural jewellery, quirky porcelain plates, top hat lights and Hentsch Man felt trilbies.

The duo also supports indie designers who can apply to rent a unit in the boutique and get advice on everything — design, manufacturing, press, distribution and pricing.

It’s a nice way to nurture young talent.

After all, it’s a jungle out there.
