Slow-Cooked Food: Organic & Local
What: Blue-eyed celebrity chef Clay Conley leads the preparation of a three-course meal, shares tips, and joins in the resulting lunch (with wine pairings).
Why: Leave with a recipe booklet, certificate, and signature Azul apron.

Food & Garden Festival
What: Culinary demonstrations by Miami chefs (betel leaf tempura with coconut crab sauce, cooking with Latin veggies) and lectures (mushrooms in South Florida, preserving your harvest, seafood safety).
Why: A farmers market including Redland Organics, honey from Bees n the Keys, spices from World Flavors, and treats from Burr’s Berry Farm.
When: Sat. & Sun., 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Where: Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, 10901 Old Cutler Rd., Coral Gables (305-667-1651). Tickets ($20) for nonmembers. Admission is free for members.

The Art of Partnering
The singles-centric art soiree includes an improvised lounge (cocktails, music, hors d’oeuvres), an intimate performance by the Miami City Ballet, and a talk by founding artistic director Edward Villella.
Why: After-party at Grove, W South Beach.
When: Fri., 6-10:30 p.m.

Swamp Stomp Music Festival
A saturation of indie bands like The Lee Boys (sacred steel ensemble), Bridget + Luke (electro-folk), Rachel Goodrich (vaudeville-inspired indie folk), and Jahfé (rocking reggae).
Why: Tickets ($8) online at eventbrite.com or at the door ($10, cash only).
When: Sat., 5 p.m.-2 a.m.
Where: Bayside Hut, 3501 Rickenbacker Cswy., Key Biscayne.

Breakfast Anytime at
Vinyl & Kai
The dark, comfy bar (picture walls covered with vinyl albums) offers breakfast kai (that’s “grub” in New Zealand) all day and night ($6-$12).
Why: Vanilla pancakes, breakfast burritos, and a free Veev mimosa or Bloody Mess (made from scratch) with entree — just mention DailyCandy.
