Get Wrapped Up in Charlotte & Lisa Scarves

Winter Layers That Are High on Style

charlotte and lisa scarves!

Our chances of looking put together steadily decline with winter temps.

Raise the stakes with a new line of scarves from Charlotte & Lisa.

While splitting time between NYC and Paris, twentysomething designers Charlotte Beecham and Lisa George drew inspiration from the stylish women they saw on city streets. Their debut line showcases multifaceted shapes, hardware embellishments, and interesting fabrics that give oomph to the ordinary accessory.

Kick the usual suspects (winter coats, blazers, sweaters, and plain tees) up a notch with a fur-lined hooded version in black or gray. The asymmetrical triblend jersey number can be wrapped as a cape or worn traditionally around your neck.

Up next: unisex leather and cotton-lined hoods, square cuts, and textured capes.

They’re a sure bet.

Available at A. Turen, 85 Stanton Street, between Allen and Orchard Streets (212-533-8200); Blue & Cream, 1 East 1st Street, between Houston and Bleecker Streets (212-533-3088); online at charlotteandlisa.com, $98-$198.
