When it comes to accessories, today’s #armparty is yesterday’s #hairfeathers, which are last year’s #gladiatorsandals.
Now trending? Classic. As in Audrey, a new line of luxe silk scarves from NYC-based London expat Audrey Lam.
The Central Saint Martins alum dreamed up prints for Diesel and textiles for Calvin Klein before becoming an independent design consultant. For her inaugural collection, Lam canvassed her personal archives for Gotham-inspired illustrations, etchings, and screen prints.
The resulting 20- and 40-inch squares are printed and individually finished with details like rolled or frayed edges. Tie red, black, and yellow graffiti round your neck; use gray and yellow florals to cover your hair; play a stylish game of Pin the Tail on the Donkey with intricately bordered poodles or birds.
We’re using a few smaller chiffon squares with energetic zigzags to practice juggling.
And that’s not just some sh*t girls say.
Available online at audreyinc.com, $148-$375.
