Like it or not, our adornments speak for us. Fat rock? Taken. A business-casual bangle? Sensibly repressed. Beaded hemp leather? Hairy armpits for sure.
Make a new statement with Ebony Fleur’s jewelry, all made in the Lower East Side.
Fleur, a native Aussie, was half of Tokyo-based design duo Make Believe before moving stateside to launch a solo collection.
Each piece is inspired by natural minerals and ice crystals, and meticulously digitalized using architectural software. The resulting forms are created in saturated coral, cobalt, lime, and black nylon, then hung from dyed silken rayon cords and plated chains.
Give necklines volume with stacked triangular and trapezoidal 3-D prints (we love the blue) or sharpen a tee with a polished gold and black collar. Gray-scale cord and earrings that look like pixilated explosions read slightly safer. Small sterling silver and gold versions are also available.
Now we’re talking.
