The Weekend Guide

The Grand Puba — er, Googa Mooga — of all.

Nebraska native Zachary Schmahl moves his Internet cookie biz with nine flavors (maple bacon, corn, oatmeal butterscotch) in three sizes, including the Schmack Snack (baked in muffin tins and not for the light-of-appetite), to a cheerily Americana brick-and-mortar.
Why: Tiger Stripe coffee and cinnamon buns start the day right; cap it off with cookie-laced milk shakes and ice cream sandwiches.
When: Mon.-Fri., 7 a.m.-midnight; Sat. & Sun., 8 a.m.-midnight.
Where: 362 W. 45th St., at Ninth Ave. (646-801-9866).

Lit Crawl Brooklyn
The lit-up event hits Brooklyn for the first time, as authors, poets, and book lovers take to Cobble Hill for an evening of readings, discussions, trivia, games (Literary Taboo), and, yes, cocktails.
Why: At Say Anything, five members of the Brooklyn Writers Space read original works imagining what happened to Lloyd Dobler and Diane Court after the infamous “no smoking” bell dinged.
When: Sat., 6-7:45 p.m.; after-party, 8 p.m.
Where: Locations and details online at litcrawl.org.

What: Put years of yoga to good use; every second inverted earns a buck for the studio once you set up your fundraising page.
Why: The blood rush to the head supports tuition subsidies and scholarships for kids and adult dance and acrobatics classes, as well as performances and more.
When: Sun., 2-5 p.m.
Where: Lava Studio, 524 Bergen St., b/t Carlton & Sixth Aves., Prospect Heights (718-399-3161).

JCP PopShop
Designers, shops, and stylish folks unload new, gently used, and vintage clothing (including Steven Alan, Comme des Garçons, and Lanvin en Bleu — a diffusion line previously available only in Japan) at up to 95 percent off.
Why: When was the last time Goyard, Alexander Wang, YSL, and Cartier were on sale all at once?
When: Thru May 25. Mon.-Thurs., 9 a.m.-8 p.m.; Fri., 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sun., 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
Where: 64 N. Moore St., b/t Hudson & Greenwich Sts.

Tibi Sample Sale
Quintessential additions to your Memorial Day weekend wardrobe (shift dresses, silk tops) at up to 70 percent off.
Why: Stuck in your cube? The sale migrates to the Web May 23-28.
When: Today, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Where: 348 W. 36th St., b/t Eighth & Ninth Aves.

Keepin It Local
The ladies behind AEA Jewelry and Thomas IV give a voice to fellow city-based craftsmen and manufacturers with an accessories sale, books and interviews with jewelry and handbag factories, and a raffle benefiting Save the Garment Center and Made in NYC.
Why: Extend your locavore habits beyond produce.
When: Tonight, 7-9 p.m.
Where: Lost Weekend NYC, 45 Orchard St., b/t Grand & Hester Sts. (917-261-2401).
