Your Father's Day Itinerary

The daddy issue

Years of family road trips taught you that a) restrooms in Arizona are hard to come by and b) your Dad loves an itinerary. Show him you care this Sunday with a day of highly structured appreciation.

9 a.m. Pick up sweet and savory stuffed buns from Brooklyn Kolache Co. The chorizo, egg, and cheese, and blueberry and cream cheese breakfast pastries are the real deal.

11 a.m. On to Governors Island for the annual Jazz Age Lawn Party. A locally made straw fedora from milliner Eugenia Kim’s recently launched men’s line, Genius, and a red chambray or beige linen tie from NYC-based label Stalward Ltd.’s debut season help Dad look the part. Both run under $100.

4 p.m. Thank Pops for introducing you to The Boss and The Beatles with a stop at WeSC in Soho. The company’s newest collaboration headphones, Chambers by RZA, cancel noise and send your message of love loud and clear.

6 p.m. Wind down with oysters and roasted bone marrow at Hillside (pictured), the newly opened sister spot to Vinegar Hill House. The outfit is reminiscent of a 1960s Northern Cali bungalow and serves small-batch wines by the glass.
