This fall, Jen Kao mixed things up with fringed kimonos and jockey-style riding caps. On Friday, she mixed things up with a phosphorescent anorak, deadstock denim, and tone-on-tone leather smocks — topped off with more riding caps. (Even in the dark, we saw that last one coming.)

Kao’s New York Public Library show trotted out judo jackets, green leather trousers, and chevron-print dresses that were a cross between modern safari and mod psychedelic.

As with all things Kao, it was one wild ride.
