It’s time for a tale.
The scene: Tonight, sundown. You and fellow Eat My Heart Out Supper Club members converge in a Dumbo loft. Club founders Eugene Ashton-Gonzalez and chef Luke Davin buzz about.
You tuck into a five-course meal set to the verbal musings of Moth GrandSlam champ Adam Wade, Ophira Eisenberg (NPR’s Ask Me Another), Jezebel editor Dodai Stewart, Andy Christie (The Liar Show), and Emmy Blotnick (Late Night with Jimmy Fallon).
Each dish is an edible metaphor of the true yarns being spun on stage (roast beef sandwiches, an Italian deli, and Canadian immigration all play into the plates) and comes courtesy of chefs from Gramercy Tavern, Roberta’s, and the French Culinary Institute.
But this saga has a kicker: It’s sold out. Luckily, they’ve reserved six VIP tickets (guaranteed front tables, drink pairings for each course, vegetarian option) for DailyCandy readers. To buy one (or two max), email ASAP.
Or eat your own words.
Eat My Heart Out Supper Club, tonight, doors, 7 p.m.; dinner, 8 p.m.; address given upon purchase. To buy tickets, email firstname.lastname@example.org, $150.
