Q&A: Woman Behind the Business

ReFashioner's Kate Sekules

kate sekules!

Former professional boxer Kate Sekules could beat the tar out of us.

Which — as intimidating as that sounds — is not why we’re featuring her today. The brains behind ReFashioner (our favorite OG in the clothing swap website industry) is charming, irrepressibly British, and admirably fearless when it comes to constructing an outfit. When you meet Kate in real life, you get the sense she always has a trick up her sleeve (in addition to some killer bracelets).

But we’ve said too much. Below, her thoughts on New York, RuPaul, and all things fashion.

Name: Kate Sekules

Neighborhood: Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn

Occupation: ReFashioner founder, a.k.a. Chief of Fashion Police

Skyfall. Very highbrow.
