After the season of engagement ring Facebook photos and the year of the arm party, you’re so bored with jewelry you could scream.
Keep your hothead cool with Ethereal, a new line of head chains and baubles from Coyote Negro and jewelry designer Luiny Rivera Gelpi of FiLiLí.
Neighbors in real life, the Bushwick-based online shop for vintage and handmade apparel and Puerto Rico-born designer drew inspiration from a shared hippie-chic aesthetic, as well as traditional Middle Eastern adornments.
Start big with a three-tiered brass link forehead band with crystal drop or ease into the look with quartz-studded hand chains. Nose rings (with or without attached chains) flash back to the ’90s, while necklaces strung with red, white, and blue African snake beads reaffirm the statement piece trend.
We encourage the bold to rock slinky lapis headpieces, though fabric-wrapped multichain earpieces look hard without breaking workday dress codes. Each one takes a week to create.
We’re simply mad about them.
Available at shopcoyotenegro.com, $40-$75.
