We know you love to build us up. But your follow-through is a guaranteed letdown (wilted bodega roses make us thorny).
Hit a high note with Flower Girl from Denise Porcaro, now open in the LES.
If you’re unfamiliar with Porcaro and her previous shop-in-shop at Earnest Sewn, she’s the go-to florist for NYC’s cool kids (Zac Posen, Drew Barrymore) and hotspots (Gramercy Park Hotel, Tenoverten).
Order seasonal arrangements a la carte or set up a delivery subscription for a weekly dose of controlled wild and whimsy. Custom head wreaths are on the menu, though we’d rather enlist four friends (and perhaps a bottle of wine) for a private flower headband weaving class.
Beyond blossoms, Porcaro stocks stationery, crystals, house-made shea butter soap bars, and succulents in driftwood (our next band name). Stop in the whitewashed digs to browse vintage vases and greenery and say hi to the shop’s mascots/protectors (Chihuahuas Piper and Penelope).
They’re not messing around.
