Wild Pizza Debuts

Farm-fresh fare in the West Village

Dear former spring breaker,

You pretend not to miss your Day-Glo spandex and beer pong, but we know better. Some people just want to get crazy.

Instead, go Wild. The new farm-to-table pizza joint from restaurateur Miki Agrawal (Slice) serves thin pies on gluten-free, vegan crust in the West Village.

Dig into veggie-packed kale, frisee, and field salads, and Brussels sprouts four ways with bacon creme fraiche, or beet it with a grainy salad and citrus yogurt.

Fennel acts as the sauce and topping on an artichoke pie, while sweet capicola with cherry peppers and basil or truffled ricotta with olive oil have more traditional appeal. Blue cheese fans, take note: The Gorgonzola, pear, date, and rosemary pie is serious. We suggest ordering all three in the personal size as a flight. Follow up with chia seed pudding or flourless chocolate cake for dessert.

Beer, craft ales, and wine are sourced entirely from New York state.

We trust you know what to do with those.
