The Elph Goes Digital

Canon Digital Elph Camera

There are elves.

And then there are Elphs.

And yes, back in 1996, it was Canon that redefined the meaning of the word, turning the concept of party-cam into a sleek accessory coveted by all…

Now the Elph has gone digital.

True to the original Elph’s charm, the newly released Canon Powershot S100 Digital Elph camera is still tiny, silver, and chic, but this one is even more compact (it’s the world’s smallest and lightest two-megapixel digital camera). Technophobes, fear not: the stainless-steel camera is still quite easy to use, remaining true to the original Elph PhD (Push Here,Dummy) philosophy while adding superior image quality and instant gratification to its allure (you can view pix immediately on the camera’s LCD screen). Simply download to your computer, and bam, pictures can be instantly produced or sent over the Internet. (“Look how much fun we had last night!”)

You can also digitally manipulate and edit your pictures, just in case that picture of you and first-date Sam was, er, taken after one too many Cosmopolitans.
