Munchies and moonshine in a soaring-ceilinged space

Buzz can pull a mean bait and switch. (It’s the pits when hype turns out to be watered-down bells and whistles with a side of weak sauce.)

Get a dose of the strong stuff at Distilled, which opens tomorrow in Tribeca, from chef Shane Lyons (Momofuku Noodle Bar) and Nick Iovacchini.

After a brief stint as a Top Chef-themed pop-up, the space now channels a pub with a chill, light-filled spirit. Stop into the lofty-ceilinged locale for happy hour craft brews, local wine, and cocktails (try the bubbly Sparkle and Shine with tart Minnesota cherry-infused moonshine).

Come dinner, munch on breads and spreads (farmer cheese, butter, strawberry mostarda) followed by tangy blackened broccoli with mint, candied peanuts, and duck bacon (pictured, top). Pork ribs take a 24-hour detour in the slow cooker before hitting your plate; pair them with chicken-fried duck and waffles or take the light route with seared scallops atop smoked duck breast with ice wine vinegar.

Apple soda floats and mascarpone cheesecake with crystallized mint and strawberry rhubarb curd finish the lineup. You’ll want both.
