The tete-a-tete pedicure at Warren Tricomi may be billed as a new way to spend a little “girl time,” but we tried a different approach.

We took our boyfriend.

Because, after all, the chances of getting him to Vogue Nail on Third Avenue were slim.(And his feet needed it! You try sleeping next to those things!)

Frankly, it rocked (and he thought so too). The Moroccan-inspired private room was lush: perfect for relaxing, dishing (no spatting), and pampering our feet. We sank into those deep cushions and sipped cafe au lait as our soles were anointed with rose petals, teabags, and a mint masque.

Now that’s is quality time. And if he still thinks only sissies get pedicures…

He has issues. Get him a nail clipper for Valentine’s Day.
